The Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria Education Relief Act of 2017, gave FSA the authority to reallocate unexpended 2016-2017 Campus-Based funds for the 2017–18 Award Year. The additional FSEOG funds will be allocated to schools that are located in the FEMA-declared disaster areas.
The additional FWS funds will be allocated to:
- schools that are located in the FEMA-declared disaster areas, and
- schools that have enrolled a significant number of students that live in the FEMA-declared disaster areas.
Schools will be notified by email when supplemental funding allocations have been awarded. This email is sent to the Financial Aid Administrator identified on the most recently submitted FISAP. Read the recent announcement from FSA here.
